Villa Pio is situated near Cong village, location of the film 'The Quiet Man' and gateway to Connemara. We are blessed with a beautiful area of woodlands and natural scenic area, perfect for walkers and those enthusiastic about the outdoors. Our facilities include ground floor bedrooms, hair dryer & tea-making in bedrooms, laundry service, private car parking, garden for guest use, free wireless internet, bike storage, no smoking on premises. Our home is less than 3km from the lovely village of Cong and is very close to the Connemara countryside, which offers breathtaking scenery, a tranquil setting in which time stands still. Also nearby is the 12th century castle and hotel Ashford Castle. A walk among the grounds is a must.
